Marketing, media, merchandising, advertising agencies, consultancies and communications services such as copywriting and publishing. |

Businesses providing technologies and services that enable information to be accessed, stored, processed, transformed and disseminated, including transmission and communication of voice, image and data over transmission media. |

Banking, building society, investment services, insurance, financial advisors, asset management, broking services, superannuation, mortgage and finance broking. |

Manufacturing businesses are engaged in the transformation of materials into products. Examples include: printing and related support activities; ready-mixed concrete production; fabricating signs and advertising displays; electoplating; grinding of lenses to prescription.
Construction businesses are engaged in constructing and repair of buildings, roads, drains or mains; installation of heating and air conditioning, alarms, electrical wiring, construction trades including carpentry, bricklaying, plumbing and painting; and site preparation services. |

Organisations with deductible gift recipient status whose purposes are the relief of poverty, the relief of the needs of the aged, the relief of sickness or distress, the advancement of religion, the advancement of education, the provision of child care services on a non-profit basis and other purposes beneficial to the community. Proof of DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status required. |

Businesses whose core function is the provision of environmental services, environmental consulting, sale or development of environmental technology or products. |
| Disability Inclusiveness Award |
Businesses showing a high level of planning and service accommodating any form of disability among staff or customers. |
| Fair Trade |
Businesses that demonstrate commitment to the fair trade principles of tackling poverty through trade as evidenced by relationships with suppliers, promotion and marketing of fair trade ideals and business practice ethics. |

Chosen from among all finalists.The business that demonstrates leadership, innovation, creativity and business strategy in adapting to and planning for sustainable growth and incorporating sustainable business practices.
Winner of the Lord Mayor’s Sustainability Award presented by EnergyAustralia will receive a $4000 EnergyAustralia voucher for the purchase of energy efficient equipment in your business.

Judging Criteria
Chosen by the panel of judges from among all award category winners, and awarded to the business that best demonstrates outstanding leadership including impact upon the community, evidence of success and sustainability planning.
