Judging
How the Awards are judged
Finalists in all categories will be sent a questionnaire to complete to aid the judges in choosing the winners. The questionnaire will not ask for financial data, but will ask you to give specific examples responding to the following criteria:
- Leadership in your industry
- Evidence of business success
- Evidence of business planning
- Community participation
- Evidence of environmental sustainability planning
Finalists in some categories may be visited by a mystery shopper or be contacted by the judges for further information.
Important Dates
Thursday 20 August: Finalists receive their questionnaires
Monday 24 August - Sunday 13 September: Mystery shopping visits (only for retail, hospitality & tourism categories)
Friday 11 September: Finalists questionnaires to be completed
Monday 14 September: Judging occurs
Tuesday 20 October: Winners announced at Awards Dinner
