BusinessEvents

The City of Sydney Business Awards 2008 were produced by BusinessEvents and Green BusinessEvents, who are end-to-end event management professionals specialising in content driven business conferences and events produced to sustainable event management principles.

BusinessEvents was established by Bill Baggitt, who is the Director. Bill has broad experience in media, event management and sponsorship/business development, including 10 years as a senior executive with CNN International. Event experience includes founder of Art After Dark, head of development and sponsorship at Sydney Festival and convenor and director of the 2007 China Business Summit.

Stephanie Werrett, executive producer: Stephanie has more than 20 years experience in broadcast and event management, working with ABC Television on major events including the Sydney Olympics and the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting 2002. She then went on to take up media and broadcast management roles on large scale events such as the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games, The Doha Asian Games in Qatar, APEC 2007 and the Australia 2020 Summit.
