How the Awards are judged
Finalists in all categories will be sent a short questionnaire to complete to aid the judges in choosing the winners. The questionnaire will not ask for financial data, but will ask you to give specific examples responding to the criteria.
- Leadership in your industry
- Evidence of business success
- Evidence of business planning
- Community participation
- Evidence of environmental sustainability planning
Finalists in some categories may be visited by a mystery shopper or be contacted by the judges for further information.
Business Partnership Awards
Two finalists will be chosen for the local City of Sydney Business Partnerships or Chamber of Commerce Award for your area. All nominees are eligible and will be judged by Partnership and Chamber leaders. You will not be asked to submit a questionnaire for these awards, which are determined based on community participation. The winner will be announced at the Awards Dinner.
